Reliable Yardworks was selected as the landscape company for the new Hilton Garden Inn Lenox/Pittsfield, representing an addition to Hilton’s Worldwide award-winning brands of hotels.
Being Pittsfield’s newest hotel since 1998 there was a lot of excitement around this project. The scope of the project would encompass approximately 5 acres total, with 3.5 acres of landscape and 1.5 acres of hardscape. We completed this project in 6 weeks.
Planning and precision is key. We began with defining the general landscape areas vs hardscape areas. Built out site plans for approval. Lasered all areas and prepped accordingly for proper water control rates. Brought in machinery, gravel, top soil, Unilock Pavers, local plants, compost fertilizer and organic mulch. Once the install was complete we moved onto maintenance with a 2 week, 4 times per day watering plan to establish the plants and sod.
We worked directly with the owners on concept design to selection of local plant materials, and hardscape areas to a maintenance plan. Great communications allowed us to keep the project on budget and the hotel opened with great success.
