Our latest project at War Memorial Field in Lenox, Massachusetts was a team effort with seven workers over the course of a week. Reliable Yardworks was hired to rebuild the infield lip which is crucial to providing a safe playable field for athletes.
We were tasked with excavating all the back side lip areas, removing sod and topsoil, bringing up the elevations with new packed gravel, lasering the new skin for a perfect transition and installation of topsoil and sod.
Even after install is complete the work continues, we water multiple times throughout the day for two weeks, ensuring the sod to hook and grow properly. Then it’s time to play ball.
